Crystal character: Win race mode under the expert difficulty level and finish better than all the EAD scores on the time attack and trick attack modes. Select Akari Hayami, hold C-Left, and press A at his statistics screen. Gold character: Enable the "Transparent character" and complete "Match Race" under the expert difficulty level with that character. Select Kensuke Kimachi, hold C-Up, and press A at his statistics screen. Panda character: Finish "Match Race" under the expert difficulty level and finish better than all the EAD scores on the time attack, trick attack and contest modes. Turbo start: Press Up as soon as the number 1 begins to disappears on the start of race screen. Deadly Fall course: Select "Mach Race", and complete all courses under expert mode. Dragon Cave course: Select "Match race", and complete all courses under hard mode. Penguin snowboard: Perform every normal trick in training mode. Highlight the any character's default board at the snowboard selection screen, then press C-Down, A(2). Note: The penguin board may also be used with the crystal, gold and panda snowboarders. Ghost playback during demo: Complete any course under time attack mode and save the ghost. Return to the demonstration screen with Kensuke Kimachi. The demonstration will continue after he crosses the finish line with the saved ghost run. Unlock tricks easily: Select the "Training" option from the main menu. Select any rider and board, and choose an easy trick from the list. Launch from the jump or from the side of the half pipe and execute the trick. Then, quickly press Right-C(2) while in mid-air. The trick list should re-appear. Select a trick that has not been unlocked, then resume and land successfully with the easy trick. The more difficult trick should now be unlocked from the list. Control camera: Press C-Up at the title screen or during instant replays to adjust the view. Use the Analog-stick or D-pad to move the camera, or press C-Up to return to normal view. Remixed replay music: Press the Analog-stick during a replay to add rap style scratches to the music. Go past the finish line: Select match race with any character, any board, and any course. Make your way to the finish line, then press Start and go to retire before crossing the line. Your character will be able to continue snowboarding. This looks the best on Deadly Falls because your snowboarder will fall off a cliff! Level select: Go to the ant hill from the main screen. Then, hold C-Up and press R at the "Flick's Journey" screen. An arrow pointing to the right will appear at the bottom of the screen to confirm correct code entry. Press Analog-stick Right to scroll the screen in that direction to access any level. Alternately, hold C-Up + C-Down + C-Left + C-Right + Z and press R. Invincibility: Hold Z + R + L when the level description appears at the start of a level. Note: The invincibility only lasts for the current level. Unlimited lives: Return to training level and find the letters to spell "FLIK" to gain a bonus life. Repeat this to obtain as many lives as needed before resuming the regular game. F-15 and Mao-Mao: Press C-Left, C-Down, C-Right, C-Up, C-Left, C-Right, C-Down when "Press Start" appears on the opening screen. A hidden F-15 with a female pilot (Mao Mao) can now be accessed. Go to where the Game Pak is located, then do a backflip near the waterfall inside there. You should hang from a crack -- slide to your right, go under the waterfall, and press A. If done correctly, you can get up and just walk through that tunnel to find it. Ice Key: The Ice Key is hidden inside another game pak. You will have to learn the Grip Grab move to get it. Go to Jinjo Village, go behind the Green Jinjo's House, and find the sandy spot. You will see a crack in the wall. Go up on the platform near there to reach it and climb your way across to a hole. If you pull this off, then you get zapped by an alien spaceship. Shortcuts: Hawaii A blue scenic overlook sign with red arrow cones will appear in Cruis'n World mode. The instant the sign comes into view, take a hard left onto the off-ramp. Some trick points are awarded by this secret, when doing stunts. Another way to get trick points, is to do a two wheelie slightly behind a car. If done correctly, your car can perform a flip. Select the Speed Demon car and boost its power level to 6. Next to the third or fourth batch of signs on your left, go straight at about 180 mph into the wall. You will see a thin path of dirt and will perform a trick. The thin path of dirt is a hidden shortcut. If desired, you can press B and stay on the path, but there is no way out. This is a way to get to the Saturn course. Germany Just before the last ramp on course, steer left so your car is headed towards the left grassy area. A rock side wall on the left will appear. Steer just to the right of the wall. If done correctly, your car will automatically do a flip for more trick points. This trick is handy if you miss the jump. Australia Watch carefully after the third set of Kangaroos, to see a dirt road to the left. The trail leads to a ramp, were your car will have enough room to earn a automatic mega-flip. This trail could also be used as a shortcut. Mexico As you are approaching one of the turns with a temple on the right, drive towards it slightly, and go just left of it. Your car will crash through some breakable trees and other objects before hitting a jump. Kenya Begin game play in cruise mode. Go to the left a short distance before the second check point. Stay to the left and go through the third check point. Follow the trail that is not too far ahead to find a ramp. New York Begin game play in cruise mode. Find the off-ramp right after the third check point. Jump off the ramp to get some trick points. Note: Do not try to get on the bridge. China Begin game play in cruise mode. Go to the left immediately after the first check point to find a trail. It will jump the road and continue straight until you are back on the track. Driving tricks: Dodge collisions To go right through a collision or on coming traffic simply do a turbo boost by pressing A(2). Then, perform a trick off the car. 360 Push Left Or Right when your car is at the top of a ramp. Flip Press A(2) to pop a wheelie on a jump. Adjust your timing if this trick does not work at first. Wheelie To pull a wheelie, press A(2) twice while on a straight road. This will also result in a small boost. Side wheelie Press A(2) twice while taking a turn. This also helps to make sharp turns easier. Barrel roll First, perform a sideways flip by pressing A(2) twice while turning. Then move the joystick the opposite direction of the turn. Flip roll Go off a jump and press B(2), A, B, C-Up to earn 20 points. Break Drift Press A + B while turning to slide. Also try this when hopping a ramp.
